Back in October I posted about SCCM’s inability to unpublish App-V 5 packages successfully with the AppData>Roaming folder redirected to a network share.
I updated with a new post in November which gave a few tips on how to get around the problem with a quick but dirty fix. I also tested out SP2 beta which, although officially supported folder redirection, still did not unpublish the package.
The great news is that Microsoft has picked up the issue having seen the problem first hand. So fingers crossed we should have a hotfix/update to the App-V client appearing soon. I’ll keep you update with the news.
